It Is What It Is

Talking to my dear cousin, Neto, today, and he recalls:

When he was very ill with Covid-19 several years ago,
He figures he was probably hallucinating with a very high fever,
Dreamt that he must have died, and suddenly he found himself at the pearly gates,
Knocking and knocking, and no one would come out and open the gates.
So Neto says he assumes God didn’t open the gates because it was not his time.

Thank God, Neto!

  1. Hey Neto it’s good to see you. Feel bad that we stop seeing each other. Time flies, new friends, etc.
    That’s life I guess.
Listen, did you hear about the 10 Negriitos (as we call them) that were hnocking on heaven’s Gates after midnight.
St Peter was just getting ready to go to bed, and got a call from upstairs. Peter please go check who’s there.
Well Peter was tired but sent his assistant.
A short while later the assistant calls St Peter and says “they are gone!”
St Peter says what do you mean they are all gone!?
The assistant says “the Gold Gates! They are all Gone!”
