The Inner Drive To Succeed – My Brother Eddie

There once was a young boy named Eddie.
The world was his when he was young, for he was a star receiver for his team;
The fastest in track; no one could beat him it seemed.
Life pretty early for him, was pretty much like a dream.

Now with a beautiful, loving family, and a great life,
He has much to live for.
Though like everyone these days, he has much strife.
However, great things still lie ahead for him to soar.

He must never forget that he still has great and wonderful opportunities left,
For no matter how rough, the inner drive is there to succeed.
He must now reach for that inner drive to conquer his fears;
To always believe in himself; for he has the conviction to overcome, no matter how hard and how steep.

  1. Brother this poem is breath taking that you wrote about your little brother. I had not read it nor has your brother, but I will make sure he read’s what you wrote about him. You are the best of the best! And we love you so very much please know that always. Your heart is beautiful and I hope you know that you are so loved by us and everyone that knows you. May God continue to bless you and give all his strength.
