Carlos was a good friend I knew at Holy Cross,
My memory is a bit fuzzy from back then,
Funny, for it seems I know him better now, than way back when.
He’s had a long life with all the good God could bestow.
With a loving wife, and beautiful kids, who I’m sure grew up with Carlos’ love in tow.
Now it seems that Carlos’ Son-in-law, Doug,
Is having some medical issues now,
And will have surgery to correct soon
In the next few days, so prayers go out to him for sure;
For we know that God will guide the doctor’s hand, and be there for his cure.
