The HC Golden Oldie Knights – Class of 1970

Thank God, call us lucky, or very, very fortunate,
That we, “Viejitos”, still have friends from high school,
From fifty-something years
That love getting together to have a few beers
To see see how everyone in our class is doing in life,
Despite the world’s chaos and strife.

We only have one rule,
To not talk politics and such,
Hopefully just to discuss old fashioned stuff,
Like family and things that matter most to us here,
For God has not given us our long lives,
To squander it, and not have good cheer.

Now, we have been missing some of our other classmates
That we haven’t seen in a while, from the Holy Cross Class of 1970.
So, those of us that have been getting together, we want to extend the invitation to everyone in our illustrious class,
To come join us every first Thursday of the month,
At 4:30 pm, Pericos Restuarant, Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX
For our next meeting!
