My Dad, and My Dream Last Night

I had a dream about you last night, Dad.
You were my younger looking Dad,
Looking rather dapper looking, in your favorite red vest,
So handsome, even after getting old,
My Father, the best, made of pure gold.

It’s fitting that you should come to me now
When I’m worried, and need your wisdom, and know-how
For my health sake that I have to pursue
But I’m sure you’d say, it’s just life,
Trust in yourself, for you will get through.

So handsome, even after getting old,
My Father, the best, made of pure gold.

  1. Awesome Bob!
Not too long ago, I was reading about how forever, even in putting the Bible stories together, mankind cannot stop trying to make everything they read better.
I would only change “before getting old” to “even after getting old”.
Take my criticism with a grain of salt.
I really believe your Dad was handsome forever. I’m sure you do too.

  2. That’s a great comment, Javier! I changed it because I believe, just like you that he is handsome forever. Thanks so much for your help. My love to you and family.
