In my long life, God has blessed me ten fold and many times over.
My forever wife, beautiful kids, what more could I have gotten?
But, of course, the Almighty knows when
You’re in a storm or squawl,
You need someone to watch over you, through it all.
Like a guardian Angel, he knows when I need him.
For whatever reason, I’m sure God meant it to be that way.
That He should put someone near to protect me,
When, for some reason, I need a helping hand,
My buen Amigo has been there, for sure.
Numerous times lately, I’ve had challenges, to put it mildly,
Where he has literally picked me up, dusted me off;
Ensured I was fine, and got me on my way.
Know, that I’m forever grateful, that your loyalty can never be repaid
For being there when I’ve needed you, mi Buen Amigo, Carlitos.
