Almost Christmas, and the tree is still not up.
Luckily, I did manage to put the lights on outside.
Then the week before the 25th, catching Covid,
Was surely not what we were expecting.
So now it’s almost the night before Christmas,
And all through the house,
There was one creature stirring,
Unluckily for us, it was the covid mouse.
Thank God, wife and I are both over the virus,
Except for a lack of energy, maybe,
But still kicking and alive,
Glad to be here and have survived.
