Dale, I'm like you...just cannot believe he is really gone. A lesson to all of us that we must treasure our friends every day. Give my best to everyone and let them know that I really do miss you all.

It is hard to believe that Alex is gone, just two weeks ago we sat in the conference room of the DO and had our quarterly LMR meeting, discussing serious matters pertaining to employees in the District and also sharing laughs and planning the future...I only knew him for 2 years but I respected him and it was easy to see that Alex always cared about everyone, you always knew that his heart and mind were in the right place...I feel confident that he is with our Heavenly Father and reaping the rewards of his hard work here. I hope his family finds peace and calm that he has found with God.

Hello Robert, reading what you said about Gardner State Park, I too started to remember the times when my family went there to camp, swim and hike up those hills. I remember that one big hill, when you climbed to the top of it, it overlooked the water and the park, it was very beautiful. Back then, when I was a kid I called those hills "mountains". I also remember the caves along the hills, we would go in as far as we could before it got too dark and we got too scared......ha ha

I hope you are doing great Robert, Still here in San Antonio, lots of work but I enjoy it.

Like the saying on our wall: "NO MAMES, NO LLORES, Y NO THE DESPIENES. Glad you're trying to keep in shape. Good to hear from you. Take care and try ot coast for a while. Getting old is tough but it beats the alternative.
